As a Senior Internal Communications Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering effective communication and alignment within the functions and across the business as a whole. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop and execute internal communications strategies that support our organisational goals, enhance employee engagement and promote a positive corporate culture.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategy development: Partner with senior leaders and department heads to develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies aligned to our organisational objectives and values that keep the team informed, inspired, and connected to the organisation and the works that we do.

  • Content creation: Create engaging and compelling content for internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet articles, email announcements and presentations.

  • Message development: Develop key messages and talking points to ensure consistency across departments and levels of the organisation.

  • Metrics and analytics: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives, using metrics and feedback to inform and drive decision making, and continually improve strategies and tactics.

  • Stakeholder management: Develop meaningful relationships with key people within Strategy and Regulatory, Commercial and Customer, and other teams in the organisation.

 

Key skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

  • Knowledge of best practices in internal communications, including change management, employee engagement and channel management.

  • Experience of communication tools and platforms, including print, digital and in-person communication.

  • High level of professionalism, discretion and integrity.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging communications for a diverse audience.
